The Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme has opened today for applications. Farming minister George Eustace announced at the Dairy Tech event that grants of between £3,000 and £12,000 are available towards up to 40% of the eligible costs of farm equipment listed in the guidance. Applications should be submitted online via the ‘Small grant online application portal’ and the application process has been simplified so there is a list of capital items to choose from with standard costs. The list is still comprehensive and to see what is covered please refer to Annex 3 of CP Small Grant Scheme Handbook or contact us for more information. The closing date for applications is midday on 14th March 2018 so there isn’t much time to get applications in. The Scheme Handbook and a link to the online application portal is available on GOV.UK.
Gorgeous evening yesterday @CotswoldKidMeat for a farm talk and delicious bbq with Gloucestershire @CAAVAgValuer. The goats look well behaved in this photo but it appears that isn't always the case!
