A south Worcestershire rural business has been shortlisted for a prestigious award. The business, C P W Daniell, owned and managed by Charles Daniell, is based just outside of Upton-upon-Severn and received the great news at the end of June.

Charles Daniell, Managing Director and Owner of C P W Daniell commented: ‘I’m absolutely delighted that we’ve been recognised by the Rural Business Awards. I set up the business a few years ago and it’s really pleasing to have seen it grow from nothing, to where we are now.  We try and provide the best service we possibly can for our clients and I guess we must be doing something right if we’ve made it to this final shortlist!’

C P W Daniell are a firm offering Rural Property Consultancy and Land Agency services to landowners, farmers and rural businesses. They have been shortlisted in the Midlands Best Rural Professional Services category of the Rural Business Awards 2018/19.

Co-Founder of the Rural Business Awards, Jemma Clifford, comments:

“We were pleased to name CPW Daniell Ltd as a Finalist in our Midlands Region. We were impressed by the firm’s dedication to putting its clients first, its commitment to traditional rural values [like trust and loyalty] and the company’s long term vision which will support sustainable growth. By developing relationships with clients that will withstand the test of time, CPW Daniell is ensuring a bright future for its rural property and business consultancy, and we wish them luck in October’s regional finals.”

The awards, whose main headline supporter is Amazon, aim to give recognition to businesses operating right across the Rural sector, to acknowledge the breadth and depth of opportunity presented by the Great British countryside, as well as to celebrate the achievements of rural businesses, from engineering through to artisan food producers and professional services organisations.

The winner of each category will be announced at the Rural Business Awards ceremony at Eastwood Hall in Nottingham in October. The winners of the regional finals will then go forward to the national final which takes place in February 2019.

This is the fourth year of showcasing the success of businesses across the UK’s rural economy – a segment which employs in excess of 3.4 million people in over 750,000 businesses in England alone.

In total, six Worcestershire businesses have been shortlisted for an award. These include: The Little Soap Company, Broadway; Cotswold RAW, Evesham; Dodford Childrens Holiday Farm, Dodford; Gloverspiece Minifarm, Droitwich and A Little Bit Food co, Tenbury Wells.
